This week on the WW Podcast I spoke with my friend, Dr. Elena Villanueva, also known as Dr. V.
Dr. V is an international speaker, health influencer, the producer and host of several ground-breaking health-based educational series, the co-author of The Longevity Code, and has been featured on FOX news, MSN, Healthline, Houston Chronicle, & many other media outlets as well several documentaries.
Dr. V and her team teach evidence based approaches for finding & treating the underlying causes of chronic illness, mental health conditions, and they have a multifaceted trauma and emotional release program that also addresses chronic diseases and mental health conditions that are rooted in unresolved trauma and unprocessed emotions. Dr. V’s unique approach incorporates the merging of Newtonian and quantum science, evidence based approaches, & the integration of the mind/body/spirit.
Dr. V knows first hand what it’s like to be running a thriving business while not running a thriving body or health. I know you might be thinking: ‘well… she’s a doctor, how does that work?’
I admire Dr. V’s candid moments in this episode. She shares how her health was slowly and SUBTLY slowing down and shutting down. It’s a scary thought, let alone have that as your new reality. During this point in her life, she admitted that “it felt like failure to surrender” in her life, biz, all the things. Until it hit her: surrender does not mean failure.
As she began to take a step back and take time for her health, she noticed that her body had been speaking to her all along, she just wasn’t listening.
Remember, the body responds to stress through disease. Through physical pain. Stress is not natural for the body!
You can be healed from anything, yet still have lingering symptoms. And… These lingering symptoms are more than likely caused by trauma.
Are you eating right? Drinking your water? Exercising? ALL the things and still are feeling defeated by these autoimmune diseases? Well, these lingering symptoms are more than likely caused by trauma or even unconscious programming. The ‘intangible’ parts.
As you begin releasing these trapped emotions, then you will begin fully healing all of those other parts!
